Electricity
The domestic market is served by a 220 volt single phase, 60 Hz supply. A 110 volt supply is available in most hotels, however, it is always best to check beforehand to be sure. It's a good idea to have a travel adapter kit packed in your bag, and if you travel with a laptop or other electronics, you should have a Travel Plug Adapter With USB Charger.
Remember, if you are traveling with a laptop computer, you should pack a travel-sized surge-supressing outlet like the
EuroSurge
to protect it's internal components, since occasional tropical storms can wreak havoc with electronics.

Cell phone coverage is available everywhere on Martinique, but you will want to check with your cellular service provider to be sure they offer international coverage and that your cell phone supports service from the caribbean - you'll also want to be aware of your carrier's rates as calls from Martinique (or to you while you are on Martinique) may very likely be at a higher rate. Because international cell rates are so high, I use - and recommend - Gorilla Mobile to everyone I know - they have extremely low cell rate to everywhere and don't require you to switch carriers, so it works with your current cellular provider.
